If it has to be quick - 15 minutes and 4 ingredients for dinner

It's been a while since I have been blogging but this doesn't mean I haven't been cooking. I discovered a few new recipies as well as put a new spin on some old ones. Not that I am promoting a certain brand but I really love the tomotoes from Hunts as I do not have to add bunch of other ingredients.
All you need fresh asparagus, a can of Hunt's roasted Tomatoes with Garlic, crushed red pepper flakes and wheat spagetti (or some cheese tortellini).

For two or three people :

1. Start boiling the water for the spagetti.

2. Break of the end of the asparagus , then cut in 1 inch pieces or smaller.

3. Heat a coated pan with 1 teaspoon olive oil on high and add the asparagus pieces . Add some crushed red pepper flakes ( or not if you don't like it hot). I would say no more than 1/4 teaspoon.

4. By now the water for the spagetti should be boiling. Break the spagetti in 1/2 and add. Let boil for 6 minutes. Meanwhile add the can of the tomoatoes to the asparagus pan. Turn to simmer and stir. You may add a little water to keep just a little bit of liquid to not burn the bottom.

5. When the spaghetti are done add them to the pan and voila - dinner is servered.

If you would like to have some mean meat with it- grilled chicken or some pieces of BBQ chicken go great with it.
